OMC specialises in the manufacture of housed optical receivers. Our active alignment process allows optimal performance to be achieved, and we can manufacture to achieve sensitivities within a tightly specified window.
As well as offering simple pin diode based devices, we also offer receivers with inbuilt pre-amplifiers, Schmidt triggers, and full digital output devices.
Most of our connectors and housings are produced to all-metal designs. They are typically used in the kinds of industrial environment which demand long term performance and reliability, and so offer greatly enhanced durability, longevity and precision over low cost commodity components.
